Field Notes

Description:

1.5" june bug. I took this pic because I've never seen any like it with the spots along its outer carapace.

Habitat:

Southern Missouri.

Notes:

He appeared at night with the rest of the bugs swirling around bright lights. As soon as the sun rose, they were all gone again. Have not seen another like it since the fourth.
