Description:

It has a relatively short thick neck, a sturdy bill, and a hunched posture. The non-breeding adult has mainly white plumage, a yellow bill and greyish-yellow legs.

Habitat:

Caatinga

Notes:

This small egret was originally native to parts of Southern Spain and Portugal and tropical and subtropical Africa. It was introduced in Brasil in 1933 and is now wide spread in the country.

Near the Cattle egret was a group of Snowy Egret
