Field Notes

Description:

Big spider looks like some sort of Orb weaver gray and wight Abdomen with dark markings Yellow colored legs and black colored joints Found at a manual car wash station Around 10 o'clock Built 4 foot wide web The spider was 3 inches long and had a very large abdomen possibly a gravid female

Notes:

I apologize for the quality of these pictures I did the best I could do with this one Please I'm Quite fascinated by the specimen if anyone has a lot of knowledge about these please let me know I do recall seeing these as a very young child growing up in Canoga They reached up to 4 1/2 inches from what I remember
