Field Notes

Habitat:

Maize farm, with surrounding thick bush.. Warm to hot place. Altitude: about 1000m.

Notes:

This beautiful butterfly-like moth was spotted yesterday on a fig leaf at a height of about 4.00m and at a distance of 5.00m. Due to the mid-day warm wind the leaf was flapping all the time, and the spot I was standing on had no place to keep the tripod. I managed to take some 6-7 shots with my camera hand-held before I started shaking and slipping from the ground beneath my feet!
