Listing this under "other" as I'm unsure how to properly classify a lichen.

This link provides a lot of information about lichens in North America, Laura. http://www.fs.fed.us/wildflowers/interesting/lichens/gallery/fruticose/index.shtml I have asked the quiestion regarding where to add the lichen photos, and the answer was "under fungus" for now... Regards

Very interesting aren't they ? Have a look at Cladonia species, Laura. I spotted some last week with similar structures and I am still looking for an ID - thoroughly confused !
