One way you can tell is the Barn Swallow has a blue back and rusty patch on forehead and the Cliff has dark gray back and a reddish white to white patch on the forehead. Juvenile Cliff has no real color just dark gray and white. Juvenile Barn is a faded version of the adult
I think this looks most like a juvenile barn swallow!
