I have changed the names of this following acquisition of an updated book. The English name is simply Clouded Yellow, Dark Clouded Yellow being used in India. The scientific name in wikipedia is incorrect, it should be C. crocea. This new book also shows that the Pale Clouded Yellow C. hyale is replaced throughout Iberia by the Berger's Clouded Yellow C. alfacariensis. I am in the process of correcting all my Iberian spottings. I will also add a reference to this book in the Notes section later.

Thanks for the update bayucca. I think my book is lacking in information, it only shows a single spot on the hindwing underside for croceus and emphasizes this feature on the Pale (hyale).

Cloias hyale is not found in Portugal. I think it is Colias croceus due to the, partly hidden, however, marking on the forewing and hindwing. Very similar and not separatable from Hyale is Alfacariensis, which might be found in Portugal, but due to the same reasons, I would rule out Colias alfacariensis for yours. Please, verify!
