Field Notes

Description:

Black beak and feet, black wings and tail, speckled chest and throat. No banding that I saw. About the size of our cardinals.

Habitat:

Was eating from our bird feeders in the yard. Rural area no large bodies of water nearby.

Notes:

Have exhausted my sources for discovering what this is, so am turning to others who know more about birds.
