Toque Macaque

Brown to golden color fur ( this macaque had a lighter and more brighter colored coat compared to the other members of its troop ), this macaque is a frequent visitor among the macaques which shows a significant color difference .
Torque macaque are endemic to Sri Lanka and is the smallest macaque species,there are three sub species found , Toque Macaque (M.s. sinica), wet zone Toque Macaque (M.s. aurifrons) and the highland Toque Macaque (M.s. opisthomelas).
