Description:

Rose Chafer on Blue Vetch. When eaten in large quantities, these beetles may be poisonous to young chickens. Mostly oval. Compact and has spiny legs. elbowed antennae with thin "leaves."

Habitat:

A widely distributed insect, the adults feeding on roses and other garden flowers, and the leaves and flowers of grape.
