Crambidae, Pyraustinae, Spilomelini. I first thought it would be Spoladea recurvalis, but the stripe is not as broad in yours for being that one. So yours might be the Spotted Beet Webworm Moth, Hymenia perspectalis. However, I can't really see all the details in your picture which would be necessary to be 100% sure, but the match looks not bad... Please, verify! http://bugguide.net/node/view/9728/bgimage?from=0 http://bugguide.net/node/view/575389/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/214856/bgimage http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hymenia_perspectalis http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=5169 http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Hymenia-perspectalis Spoladea recurvalis for comparison: http://bugguide.net/node/view/717700/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/9731/bgimage
