Description:

There were so many different types of Cracker in the Garden fruit table, I had to be so careful to match the top design with the bottom as not to make a mistake when it comes to an ID.

Sometimes it is really not easy to separate all these Crackers. If you have the underside than it is always "easy". You already have the Orange and Red Cracker in your set. Let's see the other ones ;-)...
Thank you so much bayucca. I am wondering about the names "Red Cracker", "Orange Cracker". I found out, that here in Costa Rica we have 11 species of Crackers of all the ones I have been seeing, this one is the reddest and has no marks on the top of the wings, but some of the yellow and orange, the top wings varied with no color spots to orange/red lines and/ or from 2 to several eyes on the top wings, how do we know witch one is what name? You are my Butterfly expert hope you do not mind my question, Thank you again bayucca. : )
Excellent spotting! If you have a picture of the underside it is easy to ID them, but from an open wing shot it is almost impossible to separate Hamadryas amphinome and Hamadryas arinome (certainly also depending on the location). Yours is definitely Hamadryas amphinome.
