Wildlife Spotting

I would be confident calling this a Swainson's; 1-they are reasonably common in this area this time of year and 2- with this view seeing the plain brown(no rufus, as Ashley states) and buffy face put Swainson's as the best fit.

Hermit thrush can easily be ruled out by the lack of red on the tail and backs of wings. Don't think you will be able to rule out any others based on this photo.

Based on looks, it can be hermit, bicknell's, gray-cheeked, or swainson's....only the gray-cheeked doesn't summer in Maine...
