Los coccinélidos (Coccinellidae) son una familia de insectos coleópteros de la superfamilia Cucujoidea. Reciben diferentes nombres vulgares según el lugar. Tienen el cuerpo redondeado y con frecuencia colores vivos. Muchas especies se alimentan de pulgones, por lo que contribuyen a controlar estas plagas.
