Description:

This is smooth-leaf hybrid of coleus (Plectranthus, formerly Solenostemon), a favorite foliage plant genus from the tropics with a long history of hybridization. They come in a myriad leaf color combinations "including most colors of the spectrum except true blue."

Habitat:

Growing as an ornamental herbaceous shrub in the gardens of a hotel.

Thanks Anna. I think you are correct, smooth leaves or not :-)
Thanks Anna. I immediately thought of coleus but the texture of the leaf surface was not fuzzy. Perhaps that doesn't matter but all of the coleus I'm familiar with are more "velvety".
