Found this guy in my chicken coop nesting box.

Notes:

Released in the woods 2 miles away from my chicken coop.

The flash makes this guy look brighter than it actually was I think. Also I caught it in Temple,GA so would a Grey Rat Snake be that far north?
Not sure how long it was making an easy meal of our eggs. Didn't see any signs that it had been there too long though.
Pretty snake! This one must still be a juvenile, since it's got the patterning on it. If it's already 5 ft, it will be a whopper when it's full-grown.
