Field Notes

Description:

With the exception of pic 4 all these were taken from my glider, flying from the airfield which can be seen in the first picture. We are often joined by Griffon Vultures and sometimes by other species of Vulture, Eagle or Kite. 2 days ago (June 29th) I was also joined by two Black Vultures and a rare Egyptian Vulture. As I was flying very close to the mountain tops it wasn't safe to try using the camera! The bird in pics 2, 3 & 5 is a juvenile.

Habitat:

High plain close to mountains
