I spotted this in a patch of weeds along a road through a village on my way to Salto del Golondrino, near Moca.

I apologize, Dan! I thought you commented on yours, but it was on Gerardo's and I IDed his as a Colombian endemic, but Nivella is not found in Mexico and yours is not the same. So, Gerardo's is not Heliopetes nivella, but Heliopetes macaira and yours is not the same as Gerardo's, but Heliopetes arsalte. I saw bayucca ID yours, so I've updated mine, save him the time, pretty sure they are the same species.
