Description:

Harmonia axyridis is a large coccinellid beetle. Its color ranges from yellow-orange to black

Habitat:

It is native to eastern Asia, but has been introduced to North America and Europe to control aphids and scale insects. It is now common, well known, and spreading in those regions, and has also established in South Africa and widely across South America.

:D ha ha ha yes, probably, maybe it thought: "oh gosh no more photo sessions" ;)
Beautiful, but also more aggressive than our native ones. Today I photographed one (with another pattern) and suddenly it flew directly on my camera - I guess it had enough of me and showed it clearly :-p
:)) aren't they beautiful! unfortunately invasive, but I was so happy to see this new pattern ;)
Ha, we found one with the same pattern today - the images are blurry, but I'll put one up shortly :)
