Habitat:

Bobolinks nest in large grassy fields, and this is one of the 2 I saw in the fields at Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area.

Mary, thanks for the nice words. The habitat for grassland birds like these is shrinking due to construction, lack of maintenance with forests growing back and other things like farmers mowing fields during nesting season. So it's always nice seeing them.
What a wonderful spotting. I used to hear them at night in Bowie, Maryland, when I was a child. Since development of houses, I believe they are no longer here. Thank you for the great pictures.
