Description:
A shrub of the rutaceae family, endemic to Australia. Large, dense shrub covered in rusty hairs. Elliptic leaves, dark green, velvety below. Yellow-green flowers, produced winter to spring,
Habitat:
Rainforest and sclerophyll forests of Victoria, Tasmaina, NSW and Queensland.
Notes:
Spotted in wet sclerophyll Alpine Ash forest in the Yarra Ranges. Area was burnt in the 2009 Black Saturday fires. Mountain Correa forms a portion of the thick regrowth of trees and shrubs in this area.
