I am still not sure if this one really is an Ampulex sp., my comment is 1 year old, I am a little bit wiser today ;-)...
Try once searching for Ampulex sp., but not Ampulex compressa. I know from Thailand that there are other Ampulex sp. Around, so why not in India?
