Yes thanks to you both I just saw a pretty butterfly :)
After adding your additional spots and the comment from José, I agree with Aphrissa. I know Aphrissa from Peru and Ecuador, but kick it out due to the missing markings on the hindwing. I obviously was misled by the tricky persepctive. Good job, José!
Now I'm not sure but your right in one picture it does seem to have a white patch but as I was trying to get a food shot it looked completely yellow I'm going to check the other photos I didn't post
I'm familiar with this butterfly! Some of your photos shows a white patch on the upper side of the wing that Phoebis sennae doesn't have.http://bugguide.net/images/raw/VLXZCLIZTL0ZBLXZQHGRQHSZVLYLWLLZTLSZTLGRDLPRKHQZELQZKH6RHHIZNLLZTZ5R1LSZQH8R0H.jpg
Pieridae, Phoebis sennae, male, without markings. In my eyes the only possibility. http://bugguide.net/node/view/446326/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/137956F http://butterfliesofamerica.com/imagehtmls/Pieridae/Phoebis_s_sennae_Cuba_Vinales_Pinar_del_Rio_150m_17-IX-2009_1_i.htm
