Description:

Nymphalidae.
This specimen has a black stain in the upper part of the wings. I have seen it always with folded wings.
It has black apical ocelus with a white pupil.

Habitat:

Spotted feeding on bramble flowers. Sierra de Guadarrama, El Espinar. Segovia, Spain.

Notes:
