Field Notes

Description:

Nuthatch family<br>
White underside, slate blue back, dark wingtips and grayish-brown cap that runs just under the dark eyes. Straight pointed bill and short tail. These small birds usually fly in groups. Squeeky chirps and highly energetic.

Habitat:

Pine forests, mixed forest with pine and favorite is Ponderosa Pines.

Notes:

Finally spotted one, or should I say group. But this was the closest one I could photograph.
