Description:

These beautiful orange butterflies marked with black streaks and white edging on their wings
It is a very limited locality in south central and south eastern part of the island. Hence it is uncommon.

Habitat:

roadside grassland

Notes:

The larve feeds on plants belonging to family Dipterocarpaceae such as Shorea robusta and Ebenaceae such as Diospyros spp.
