Description:

The White woolly daisy (Eriophyllum lanosum or Antheropeas lanosum), is a spring wildflower found in the eastern Mojave Desert, the California Desert and the Sonoran Desert in the United States. It usually grows to a height of less than four inches. The plant, part of the Sunflower Family, is often unnoticed because it blends in with gravel and sand. It has a white-woolly stem, and the flowers have white rays with a yellow center.
