Description:

Thread waisted wasp has caught some sort of Caterpillar. The wasp will take the caterpillar to an underground den - along with about 10 others (preferably hairless) and lay an egg. The caterpillars will be eaten alive by the young wasps.

Habitat:

Thick foresty area with sandy soil.

Notes:

She was fun to chase across the underbrush- I was surprised at how fast she moved.
