Description:
Eagle capturing fish.
Frame 1 Eagle preparing to grab fish.
Frame 2 Eagle extending talons to secure the fish.
Frame 3 Eagle lifting off with fish secured.
Habitat:
Continental North America and Alaska. It is found near large bodies of open water with an abundant fish and food supply and old-growth trees for nesting.
Notes:
Saw a group of at least 9 eagles; one of which was a juvenille that did not have a white head.
