Field Notes

Description:

male: Prosoma dark brown, with rugged surface, fovea absent. Both eye rows recurved (in dorsal view). Clypeus relatively narrow. Sternum almost black. Cheliceren with 3 denticles on promargin and 2 denticles on retromargin. Legs dark yellow. Opisthosoma triangular. Body length male: 2.1 mm;
Female: Opisthosoma: sides folded inwards ventrally, dorsum with broad white and brown transverse bands. Body length female: 6.4-7 mm

Habitat:

Global distribution (Platnick 2013): Mediterranean to Georgia, Madagascar
