Field Notes

Description:

Small 1cm orange more than golden tortoise beetle. Black on its back and its sides and where the tortoise legs would be (if it was a tortoise)

Habitat:

On our garden path near jungle and mangroves, Phuket, Thailand, South East Asia. 7.56 Rainy Season.

Notes:

I had seen one of these a few days before but it flew away as soon as I got closer. I felt extremely lucky to spot this one AND get some pictures of it.
