Description:

Large green flying insect with yellow stripe extending from the top of the head back through the eye and onto the top of the back.

Habitat:

Rural back yard attracted to light trap.

Notes:

Katydids have ears in their front legs. You can clearly see the tympanum on the front leg in the first photo.
