Field Notes

Description:

Family: Rubiaceae. One of the more common choices for a native butterfly garden, it is still a good one as it can survive a North Florida freeze and can grow 10 feet tall in the south. Florida is its northern range however and this species is a tropical convert that can also be found in much of the New World tropics.
