Description:

Gray patterned Wings. The edges look like lace.

Habitat:

I see him at night or with the mornings first light. He likes to be up high because he's always just outta good pic range.

Notes:

He's camera shy too. I've been tryin to get his pic for like 2 months. As soon as I snapped the pic he flew away.

Hi Danielle, this is a wonderfully beautiful moth. I am pretty sure this is actually a Tulip-tree Beauty. If you compare the stripes on the wings and the shape as well as the way the moth holds it's wings you can see the difference. Common Gray: http://bugguide.net/node/view/618846/bgimage
