Description:

About 17-19 mm in length, marked as shown. Named for the slanting ivory marking on the "shoulder." This species, when startled, flies about 30 yards or more before alighting again.

Habitat:

Crusty, alkaline shore of large reservoir in nearly treeless prairie habitat.
