Description:

terrestrial orchid, about 50cm tall

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I just did a short hike near the HQ for my first hike in Kubah national park. I was surprised to spot 2 orchids, both in great condition and in a good spot to photograph.

Awesome plant, it's rare to see this mainly temperate Eurasian tribe (Epidendroideae: Neottieae) in the tropics.
