Description:

Rattlesnake Masters can grow to be 4-5 feet tall and 2-3 feet in its leaf spread. It blooms between June and September. The plant has whitish pointed bracts. It got the name Rattlesnake Master becasue it used to be used as a treatment for a rattlesnake bite.

Habitat:

The plant is a native to North America specifically the state of Missouri. The Rattlesnake Master can be found in rocky woods, prairies and glades and is a common plant of the tallgrass prairie. It prefers dryish sandy soils and is easily grown in dry-medium, well drained soils in full sun.
