Description:

Moths can stand a surprising amount of rain and if not too heavy will continue flying in rain. The drops will roll off the scales unless the moth is soaked in a puddle or lands up-side-down. Lots of moths need rescuing during the rainy season.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden while raining, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
