Was this deer in a zoo or something similar? This is not a White-tailed Deer. It looks like a Fallow Deer. White-tails loose their white spots once they become adults. Fallow Deer are not native to the United States but they can be found in zoos, game farms, etc. I don't know if there are any introduced populations in your area.
