Field Notes

Description:

Similar to Desert Rose but taller, the tree has large oval-shaped leaves at the top with clusters of pink buds that open to fragrant white and yellow blossoms.

Habitat:

Found in Mexico, Central America, South America and Hawaii.

Notes:

Someone gave us this Plumeria years ago when it was about 4 inches tall and while the trunk grew, it didn't start flowering until last year. The tree is now close to 6 feet tall and only has 2 branches.
