Brackish water, creek, very slow moving to almost calm

I woul say very low because it is a creek that connects to the inter-coastal water way about 15 mile down. I was near the beginning of the creek where it is mostly rain water feeding it
I am curious about the brackish conditions. Do you know what the salinity was in parts per thousand? According to one of my reference books, they start to have osmotic stress at 8 ppt, and 12 ppt is lethal (Moyle 2002).
