Field Notes

Description:

Seagull markings very similar to that of Mew gull. The difference is in the beak. The Mew has a rather pointed beak, but the Pacific Gull has a more massive beak and a red dot on it.

Habitat:

Seagulls are very opportunist. The setting is close to the Pacific Ocean bay in San Diego, CA. The gull is observing a buffet and looking for food droppings.
