Field Notes

Description:

Small butterfly. Topside of wings powder blue with what looked like black edging on upper wing and pale edging lined with black on hind wing. Underside of wings paler with black dots and lines. Body blue and appeared fuzzy; antenna a prominent dark blue.

Habitat:

The butterfly briefly landed on a small patch of cut grass beside a treed area in a large urban park on the shores of Lake Ontario (Colonel Sam Smith Park).

Notes:

I think this may be a Spring Azure, but I'd love to have someone more knowledgeable weigh-in (apologies for the fuzzy photos!)
Edit: Confirmed by LuckyLogan - thanks!
