Well bensonii doesn't get south of the Malay peninsula I read, so I would guess it was not wild collected but crossbred somewhere. People are wild about orchids ("anggrek") in Indonesia.
Could be...there is a great deal of variety in the way species orchids look and it is possibly a cultivar..which just means a species that had distinction. Do you think it was wild collected?
Thanks Claire! It does indeed closely resemble V. bensonii, but I'm thinking it is a hybrid/cultivar of it.
It is possibly a Vanda tricolor cultivar rather than V. bensonii but bensonii is my best guess.
