Slidell, Louisiana, United States of America

At a Car wash when I saw this beauty! This moth was quite large. My children and I are studying insects over the summer ! The funny thing about finding this beauty is that he is ion a trash can lid and I would of never seen him had i not gone to toss out an apple in the trash can. I ran back to my car to grab the camera which told my kids "mommy found another bug top take a photo of" so the jumped out the car. people where looking at us crazy staring at a trash can lid.
