Description:

A lovely, tiny pale blue flower with a yellow center.

Habitat:

I spotted this in a grassy meadow, the typical place blue-eyed grass grows.

Notes:

There are 70-200 species in the genus sisyrinchium.

I thought the other one looked like a horsetail but it confused me that the blue-eyed grass was peeping through. :) Thanks for confirming, Dan.
Yeah, the flower is blue-eyed grass. The other plant is horsetail (Equisetum). Blue-eyed grass leaves are more thick fan like blades.
