Field Notes

Description:

Very small fly. Yellow head, legs and lower part of body. Upper part of body brown with yellow stripes. Dark eyes that reflect metallic blue. Tends to perch face down. Frit Fly family.

Habitat:

Suburban backyard garden.

Notes:

Really attractive little fly.
