Field Notes

Description:

Climbing vine with 5-pointed leaves and large blossoms.

Notes:

We have these passion vines growing all along our fence. Not sure how they got there and they never produce fruit, but the blossoms are beautiful. Gulf Fritillaries drink the nectar and their caterpillars eat the leaves (photos 4-5).
