Lung Liverwort

Found on wet, nutrient-rich, organic soil, The multi-lobed thallus is dull green and often pitted. Male structures, found on seperate plants have more rounded, less deeply cut lobes. Water drops falling into the cups splash the gemmae out to begin new plants.
