Field Notes

Description:

Robin was approximately 11 inches long. It has a brown back and a reddish-orange breast.

Habitat:

The Backyard habitat is shown in the second picture. It is a moderately watered lawn with trees and bushes. After watering, the robins fly onto the lawn to search for grubs, earthworms and and other insects.

Notes:

the eol reference has a very nice picture of the Robin.
